Zangersheide (Holst. Strain 104a)

S Alba R. comes from the super stock of the Grand Prix stallions Corland and Celano. A cross between the golden combination Joost x Abgar xx with the Holstein family of Acoretto, Aktion Hero, Caballo, Caretano Z, Chico`s Boy, Contendro and others. I and II.
S Alba R is a stallion approved in 2002 by the Zangersheide Studbook. This dark brown son of the sport horse sire Germus R showed very good performances at the stallion approval. He jumps with a lot of power with excellent technique and always finishes the jump excellently. He jumps with a lot of power and is very fast off the ground, what we expect from a jumping horse and something that we can use well in our current sport horse breeding.
This S Alba R is bred very interesting, because he comes from one of the best Holsteiner performance strains (104a). A great many well-bred stallions have now emerged from this line. There are also many sport horses that can compete at the top at the international level. Some examples are: Corland, Contendro, Mechanic, Careteno Z, Celano, Corlanda, Acodetto, Leuthen I and II.
His mother is a daughter of the jumping horse supplier Pit I. This Pilot son, together with Germus R, provides the necessary blood input that a performance horse needs. Some Pit I offspring include Perina from Meredith Michaels Beerbaum and Picadilly from Debby Winkler. Some other offspring from the grand dam of S Alba R that have shown very good performances are: the approved Holsteiner stallion Joliot and the S jumping horse Real-Deal (by Germus R). His father Germus R is also the father of the well-known jumping horse Balaboeska R (released by Jeroen Dubbeldam) and Medoc II of Rossen Raitchev (Bulgaria).
The foals of S Alba R are long-lined, high-legged and have a lot of flexibility. During the free jumping it was striking that they have a lot of talent. They are all brown in color with little or no markings.
